Family Townhouse

Full interior design for a new home

FPDS Concept

To suit our client’s personality, we created a minimalist mood board, optimising for comfort and elegance. Our client, a quiet, laidback person, had bought most of the furniture for his new home before we were contracted. Thus, we first reviewed the furniture selections before we began space planning. We also worked with our client’s developer to make selections for the tiles, doors, and some other fittings.

For this residential design in Lagos, Nigeria, we had to think outside the box to maximise use of the client’s furniture. We built our concept around it to prevent resource waste, exploring finishes that would bring out the best use of furniture while also blending them with the desired minimalist aesthetic.

Output

The final fusion was a coherent, minimal, and vibrant theme throughout the home. Here, we balanced stunning aesthetics with functionality and form. The home is nestled on Banana Island, offering a respite away from the hubbub of Lagos, so we chose rich tones and textures that simulate intimacy and inspire relaxation.

We planned the home to provide the greatest comfort possible amidst premium design and quality finishes. Our client’s family was thoroughly satisfied with the finished interior design. Our goal was to deliver a home where they can live, work, play, and love—and that’s exactly what we did!
